Fatal Railroad Accident.— A lad named Jacob Sauter, son of the Rev. J. Sauter, pastor of the German M. E. Church, Market st., Newark, N. J., was accidentally killed in the Market st. railroad depot of that city, on Friday afternoon last. He got on the platform of the last car of the 4 1/2 o'clock train to Philadelphia, while it stood in the depot, and as the car was moving, he jumped off. In doing so, he struck one of the stone pillars on the east side, and fell back upon the track. The car wheels passed over his head, crushing the skull, and almost severing his neck, killing him instantly.—N. Y. Tribune.
