Members of the eighth grade Civics Club at Holy Rosary School were delighted last week to receive a note from Mrs. Dwight D. Eisenhower to thank the youngsters for a spiritual bouquet the group sent the president during his illness. Pictured looking at the note from the Denver White House are, left to right, Sharon Fitzsimons, who made the suggestion to send the bouquet; Sister M. Estelle, O.S.F., moderator of the Civics Club and James Long, president. The students sent the president an offering of 150 Masses and 100 rosaries for his speedy recovery.

In her reply, Mrs. Eisenhower said, 'The president and I are deeply grateful for your expression of good wishes and prayerful concern in his illness. I assure you, your message has been helpful to him.'
