A dispatch from San Francisco says that a letter from Guadalajara, dated the 6th inst., contradicts the Mexican news received from Havana via the overland telegraph. The French under Bazaine, it is stated, occupied Zapotlan on the 4th, without opposition. Uraga, with 800 Mexicans, was prepared to make a stand on the mountain defiles leading to Colima. Bazaine, it is thought, will try to make his way to the Pacific. Juarez was at Zacatecas. Mejia had occupied San Luis Potosi, and Negrete had been defeated in an endeavor to re-capture it.
