WHY WINTER WILL WIN

WINTER WILL WIN election to the United States senate in Wyoming this year because he will have more votes than Senator Kendrick. Every time Senator Kendrick has won before it was in a democratic landslide. Wyoming is a normally republican state by more than 10,000. This is presidential year and the republicans are going to vote their straight ticket.

WINTER WILL WIN because at the recent election he received two and one-half votes to Kendrick's one. Comparing recent primary elections with last senatorial primary, republicans gained 5,000 votes while the democrats lost nearly 4,000. What has become of the missing democrats? Many of them were oil field workers at Salt Creek and Teapot and they have returned to Oklahoma and Texas.

WINTER WILL WIN because Kendrick will not have the support he had six years ago. Many of the old timers who supported him then have passed on. Their children are not going to be swayed by sentiment. They are going to vote for Hoover, Winter and a protective tariff. They are not going to take any chances by voting for a candidate who belongs to a party that has always opposed a high tariff when they have an opportunity to vote for a candidate who has always been a protectionist from principle and is affiliated with a party that has always been committed to the principle of a protective tariff.

WINTER WILL WIN because of the splendid record he has made in congress. His measures for the return of the remaining lands in the federal domain to the states in which they are located and his opposition to the further encroachment of bureaucratic government have made him a national figure. If Wyoming had the $46,000,000 of royalties that have been paid to the federal government from Salt Creek alone, along with many other millions of income from the public domain, within her boundary lines, it would not be necessary to levy one penny of taxes for our public schools and highways.

WINTER WILL WIN because of his ability. His training in the house has fitted him for greater usefulness in the senate. His long residence in Wyoming, his intimate knowledge of the problems of irrigation, mining, oil, ranching, business and the law peculiarly fit him to render most valuable services to the state in the senate. He has served his apprenticeship in the house and is entitled to advancement.

WINTER WILL WIN because he is needed in the senate. A trained legislator is needed in the senate from Wyoming to meet any emergency that might arise. Congressman Winter has reached that period in life when his capacity for work is greatest, when his mental faculties and ripened judgment are at their best. The state will make no mistake in accepting the offer of his services.

WINTER WILL WIN because of his ability, his splendid record and the fact that he has a united party behind him.

Slogan: WE WILL WIN WITH WINTER IN WYOMING.
