A NEW RAILROAD.
The Pittsburgh Chronicle brings us this bit of news, which may appropriately be headed, "Important if true:"
The construction of a narrow-gauge road is in progress from Washington through Bethany to Wellsburg, to connect with the Pittsburgh, Wheeling and Kentucky road at the latter point; also, connect with the Waynesburg and Washington narrow-gauge at Washington. The road has been completed as far as Beech Bottom, four miles south of Wellsburg.
The Chronicle has got a part of two roads mixed.
