HEIDELBURG, AUG. 22.

An event remarkable in its kind, happened here on the 20th :--Charles Witte (whose name is already well known) who, in his thirteenth year, was Doctor of Philosophy, and in his fourteenth Member of the Literary Society of the Wittemberg, attained, after two years study of jurisprudence, the degree of Doctor of Laws. He went through the first and most rigid examination, summa cum laude, and he went through the public disputation so brilliantly, that all the Academy joined when Professor Zachariah created him Doctor, in a speech highly honorable to both.--London Paper.
