EVEN FORDS BECOME UNRULY AT TIMES

Ernest W. Holmes became careless Tuesday while he cranked his pet jitney in front of his factory on Sapphire street, and it being in gear nearly ran over him in making a wild dash down the street. Mr. Holmes started in pursuit, but wasn't gaining a bit on jit and it looked like a case for the poundmaster when, bingo! jit crashed madly head-on into an inoffensive, but sturdy, telephone pole near Pine avenue, coming to what is known as a full stop.

As soon as the coughs and muffled moans had subsided, E. W. H. escorted the runaway home under its own power for a few minor repairs.
