[COMMUNICATED.]
Having attended the Lectures on Phrenology, delivered at the Lyceum Hall, by Mr. Sizer, in connection with Mr. Buell, I was pleased to observe in your paper of yesterday, their announcement of a regular course. No doubt, a class, sufficient to justify these gentlemen in delivering the proposed course, can be raised. Even those who disbelieve in the science, if their opinions are the result of honest conviction, should attend. Truth can suffer but little from the cavillings of error- whilst fallacy becomes the more glaring the oftener it is exposed. In the exercises to-night there is one attraction-an opportunity will be given to the opponents of phrenology to state their objections-not exceeding 20 minutes,-whilst the privilege of reply will be accorded to any other visitor; thus allowing, on the part of the audience, a friendly discussion of the different views they may entertain. It is to be hoped that all interested in the science, or disposed to encourage the proposed course, will attend to-night.
