VETERANS WILL GO TOMORROW

Camp Sumter to Send Delegation to Savannah.

Quite a large delegation of Confederate veterans, representatives of Camp Sumter 642, as well as veterans from other counties hereabout, will leave Americus tomorrow for Savannah to attend the great state reunion of veterans there this week. Commander H. T. Davenport of Camp Sumter has secured quarters in Savannah for the veterans here, and the old soldiers of the sixties look forward to an occasion most enjoyable. Royal entertainment will be provided by the host city for the thousands of visitors attending the reunion. The Americus veterans will go by the Seaboard Railroad at noon tomorrow, occupying special coaches set apart for their exclusive use by the company. Three or four days will thus be spent in Savannah, fighting over in song and story the battles of the sixties.
