Winthrop Rockefeller, top city izen of Arkansas, is the subject of an elaborate five-page spread of print and pictures in the January 24 issue of Look magazine.
The magazine tells how the "grandson of America's first billionaire" came to Arkansas, liked it, bought 1,500 acres of Petit Jean mountain, and made it into a model breeding farm with 310 cherry red Santa Gertrudis cattle, at a cost of $1,500,000.00.
James Hudson, Negro graduate of St. Paul's Polytechnic, runs the establishment firmly and competently, we are told.
