SEWER QUESTION UP
TO COUNCIL TO SOLVE

Just what kind of a sewer shall Cody have and whom shall the system serve are questions before the city council following the hearing Monday afternoon. J. H. Vogel and others petitioned for the forming of a sewer district with the main trunk on Third street and taking in half a block on each side with the disposal tank at the gravel pit near the mill. Objection was made by some that this plan might prevent the whole town from having a sewer system when it desired it and the council took the matter under advisement with the hope that a plan may be worked out which will meet the present need as well as preserve the rights and interests of those who cannot hook up with the district sewer.
