Full Text

Yesterday morning, about three o'clock,
two stables, the property of Ezekiel Price,
and Rufus G. Amory, Esquires, were consumed by fire, with their contents of hay,
grain, carriages, and one horse. It is not
known by what accident the fire took. The
inhabitants were extremely alert; and the
houses being very dry, the wind brisk, and
the wells low, the danger was threatening;
but the well-arranged exertions made, confined the destruction to the above buildings.
Our Roxbury friends were in town with
their engine at a very early moment.
