AGAINST HASKELL

Muskogee, Okla., May 8.—Federal Judge Campbell today overruled the demurrers of the defendants in the so-called Mott Civil Creek Indian land suit brought by the government against Gov. Haskell and other Oklahomans. The decision, involving as it does the legality of millions of dollars worth of lots, created consternation. Not only are Governor Haskell and other involved in a charge of fraud, but fifteen hundred purchasers ought to be prosecuted. The suits were brought by the government for the Creek Nation to recover three thousand acres in Muskogee. Town lots are said to have been obtained by Haskell and others by scheduling "Dummies."
