Extract of a letter from a gentleman in Nassau, to the Editor of the (N. York) Commercial Advertiser, dated July 22, '99.

The following vessels, under American colours, have lately been brought in by his Majesty's ships of war:
Schr. Freeport, from Boston to Vera Cruz, condemned vessel and cargo.

Schr.—, of R. Island, with staves do.
Brig Columbia, of Portsmouth, N. H. found at sea, and sold for account of the concerned.
Schr. Aurora, Lang, from New-York to Havannah, waiting trial.
Sch'r Lydia, Stonemetz, Havannah to Philadelphia, do.
Ship Diana, Clarke, N. York, to Havanna waiting trial.
Brig Romulus, Dalton, Havannah to Philadelphia, do.
Brig Sally, Brown, St Croix to Havanna, do.
Ship Rebecca, of R. Island, from Turks-Island to Havanna, do.
Schr. Hazard, Collick, Norfolk to Havannah, do.
Schr. Betsey, Uland, Carleton to Havannah, do.
Brig Eagle, Wicks, Philadelphia to do. do.
Ship Paulina, N. Orleans to N. York, bro't in this day—it's supposed he will be liberated.
A few days since, Polacre Adams, from N. York to N. Orleans, was condemned vessel and cargo.
