Democrats Have Practically Agreed Upon
Gibbons for County Treasurer and
Sweitzer for County Clerk.
Scully, Reinberg, Horner, Cermak,
Lindheimer and Dailey To Be Named and
Popular Candidates for All Offices.
The Democrats have about decided upon a slate for the county primaries to be adopted at the July meeting of the Managing Committee six weeks hence.
The men chosen so far are all strong.
The slate includes Harry R. Gibbons, the big box manufacturer and patriotic citizen who did so much for the Red Cross and Liberty Loan, for County Treasurer.
Peter Reinberg, the present efficient incumbent, for President of the County Board.
Anton J. Cermak will be named for Sheriff or will be renominated for Bailiff of the Municipal Court.
Popular Robert M. Sweitzer, the present incumbent, for County Clerk.
Jacob Lindheimer, who has made a good record as Assistant County Treasurer, for one of the big Court Clerkships or for Sheriff.
Thomas F. Scully, the present popular incumbent, for County Judge.
Henry Horner for Probate Judge.
James M. Dailey for Sanitary Trustee.
Most of the present County Board for re-election.
Great care is to be taken in selecting candidates for the Legislature.
