"WE WANT WILSON."

When Woodrow Wilson was nominated for governor the slogan of a well known advertisement, "Wilson --that's all," was heard on all sides by those who favored his candidacy. It certainly did seem to be all there was to the election last year. But it was realized that the governor was worthy of something better than such a phrase copied from an advertisement, the very suggestion of which was anything but edifying. As the governor's boom for the presidential nomination grew, therefore, something that would catch the people was bound to develop. What could be more fitting than to have the college boys find the right words. For the information of those who may not be aware of the fact, the organization of Woodrow- Wilson Leagues of College Men is now going on in, the leading universities of the country. The University of South Carolina was the first to organize. The 'University of Virginia was not far behind. Some 200 Princeton students met Wednesday night, and got in line for the former president of that university. But it was at the meeting of Columbia men in New York where the slogan was brought forward that is bound to sweep the country. "We Want Wilson." is what the Columbia men say. That is what the people all over the nation are saying and that is what they will insist upon having in 1912.
