Wednesday a Man well dress'd came to the Ship in Ship Yard, Temple Bar, (a noted Strong Beer Shop) and ask'd for Mr. John Bradshaw; being told that no such Person was there, he said, Landlord, have you a Nose-Club establish'd here? He said there is such a Thing to be; he then ask'd for the Standard, which the Landlord brought, and measured his Nose, and found he would do; he then called for a Pint of Beer, and while he was drinking it, watched his Opportunity, stole a Pair of Brass Candlesticks off the Chimney-Piece, worth about 8s. and went off, with his Nose, undiscover'd, tho' there was Company in the Room all the Time.--- There he flung the old One.
