Witness Admits $1,200 Payment

NEW YORK--A former file clerk of a New York public relations firm has admitted receiving more than $1200 for information bearing on the filing of a $250 million civil law suit against 31 eastern railroads by the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association.

The ex-employee said she mailed a sheaf of documents to an organization which has since become an interested party in the suit.

The documents she sent to the Washington firm were removed by her from her desk where she had kept them until her last day of employment with the New York firm.

She also reported that she was paid $50 for expenses and $50 a day for information recorded by her for representatives of the group which brought her to Washington.
