For the Morning Star:

Br. Burr:

I perceive in the last Star, a credit for $2.00 contributed by a sister. I did not expect that in noticing this donation, you would use my name. As it is, I desire now to state the manner in which I received it to be communicated to you. I found in our pulpit, on Sunday before last, a sealed letter directed to me. It contained the $2.00 accredited in your last and the following epistle. May all who read possess or imbibe its spirit. I know not who this sister is—He knoweth, who saw the poor widow cast her mite into the Lord's treasury.

Dover, Feb. 12, 1836

Dear Brother:—Believing that the silver and the gold are the Lord's and that we are accountable for the use we make of our Lord's money, I humbly beg you to drop this into the Treasury of the F. B. Foreign Mission Society. And may the Lord of the harvest raise up, qualify and send forth more faithful laborers into his vineyard.

A SISTER.
