Full Text

The magnificent Public Entry of the two Venetian Ambassadors (which will be in the Spring) will be one of the most elegant and genteel public Shews ever seen in this Capital. The Preparations are already begun to be made, and are forwarding as fast as possible. Three very superb Equipages are now making at Paris. The English Artificers, to whom the Offer was first made, required 12 or 15 Months to make them, which was too long a Time for their Excellencies to wait. The Liveries (which are of Scarlet Velvet, and trimmed with Point d'Espagne Lace) of the Pages and Gentlemen of the Bedchamber, will be the most grand ever seen in Europe, they being proportionably richer one above another, and the meanest valued at Forty Guineas.
