The following statement appears in the Frederonian of the 20th ult. a paper which publishes "by authority" at New-Brunswick, in New-Jersey:

"Kentucky was so unanimous for Mr. Clay, that no ticket for any other candidate was run in that state."

Now the fact is that in Kentucky General Jackson received 6453 votes, and Mr. Clay 16,781—giving General Jackson more than one fourth of the whole vote of the people of that state, and a greater number than Mr. Adams received in twelve of the states where the people voted for electors. The statement would have been correct, had this "authority" writer said that Mr. Adams was so unpopular in Kentucky that no ticket was run for him.
