WHERE TO UNITE

The colored people should patronize those merchants and those business houses which in some way recognize them. The stores that employ colored salesmen or that advertise in the colored newspapers or in any capacity recognize the colored people should have the colored trade. Find out what stores employ colored help and trade there. Look at the advertisements in the colored newspapers and trade there. The colored people of Marion county spend thousands of dollars weekly and it should be spent in a way to benefit the race. The Freeman man proposes to visit every business house in the city and find out the stores and the men who are willing to treat the colored people justly in this matter and proposes to tell the colored people who they are and where they can be found.
