Patrolmen Start Work

EL PASO, Aug. 7-(UP)-The first 100 new border patrolmen ordered trained under the new emergency set-up of the U. S. border patrol, "graduated" from the service school at Camp Chigas today.

Without any fanfare or ceremonies, the new patrolmen - first batch of some recruits to be added to border guards this year--left for their new posts to strengthen Uncle Sam's protection against illegal entry into this country of subversive elements.

These 100 new men were ordered to stations along the U. S.-Mexico frontier. Approximately half of the next 100 to enter the school at Camp Chigas next week will be sent to the Canadian border.
