The eight following noblemen and gentlemen have been struck off the list of Privy-Councellors here. The Earls of Shannon, Lanesborough and Southwell: the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir William Townshend, Sir William Mayne, Bart. Hercules Langford Rowley, Esq; and William Brabazon Ponsonby, Esq; Son of the Speaker, is dismissed from his place of Examiner of the Customs.
Lord Annaly, Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench, has agreed to resign upon a Pension: and John Hely Hutchinson, Esq; (who is Remembrancer) is to succeed him, and to have a Peerage.
Lord Dunkellin is appointed governor of the County of Galway.
