City Improvements.

Among them, we noticed that David A. Hall, Esq., has erected, for a private residence, a large brick house on the corner of Third and C streets.

In the same neighborhood, Mr. A. Baldwin has laid the foundation for two brick houses.

Mr. Lowrey, Georgetown, in rebuilding on the site of the store kept by Mr. Seabolt, and which was destroyed by fire several weeks ago.

Mr. P. Browning is erecting a four story house, including the basement, on Four-and-a-half street, not far from Pennsylvania avenue, and on the same square Messrs. Garrett and Davis intend building one two and two three-story brick houses.

The workmen are going on with the paving of Pennsylvania avenue, from the War Department, down to the State Department.
