IMMIGRATION.
It is proposed that the people of Charlestown Township hold a meeting for the purpose of organizing a 'Board of Immigration,' to whom shall be entrusted the duty of superintending the importation of a sufficient number of the hardy sons of New England to fill the various township offices, as there are hardly enough radicals 'to the manor born' for these important services. By the farce of Thursday last, we have already secured the valuable services of a magistrate and a constable from that 'hub of the universe,' and now we want a few more to fill the other important offices. The time and place for holding such meeting, will hereafter be given.
