These counties at the last election gave M'Kean a majority over Snyder of 7519 votes. The above majorities therefore make a difference of above 16000 in favor of Snyder. M'Kean's entire majority was but 6211
Dr. Benjamin Say, Dr. John Porter, and Wm. Anderson, republicans, are elected members of Congress; and Dr. Say to serve next session, vice J. Clay, resigned
The foregoing statement almost reduces it to a certainty that Mr Snyder will be elected Governor by a great majority, and that there will be a large republican majority in the legislature.
