MARRYING DIVORCED PERSONS.-A committee of the New School Presbyterian Synod of New York and New Jersey, which was in session at Bloomfield, N. J., lately, made an interesting report, through the Rev. Dr. Eddy, on the question: " Shall a minister of the Gospel perform the marriage service for a person who had been divorced for crime?" The conclusion arrived at by the committee was, that a minister of the Gospel has no right to solemnize the marriage of any person who has once been divorced on the ground of his own wrong doing.
