While the reading world are dependent upon our craft for intelligence pertaining to their interests and tastes, we, the professors of the "Art Preservative of all Arts," sustain and patronize a journal devoted to our interests, as well. "The Printer" for the month of June, comes to us filled with highly interesting and tasteful matter. "The Press," a poem by John M'Creery, for its intrinsic worth alone, will be read with deep interest by the Literati, much more so by the practical Printer. It also contains a highly interesting essay upon the history of languages, besides the report of the Typographical Union Committee on the apprentice system, with remarks by the editor, etc., all of interest to the craft generally.
