Capt. George Williams, jun. arrived here on Friday last from the Havanna. On his passage he spoke with a vessel from George-town, the master of which informed, that two or three days before he sailed, an account was received there, that General Leslie had marched out in force from Charleston, and attacked General Greene; and after a very severe action, the enemy were defeated, leaving 500 men, killed and wounded, on the field of battle.--Georgetown is 60 miles from Charleston.--This engagement is supposed to have been fought about the 1st of May.
