Lanier Students

At two o'clock, Thursday, on February 13, 1947, the Howard University Competitive Entrance Examination Test was given in the Lanier High School Library.

The Howard University Competitive Test is given to high school seniors in seventeen states. Lanier High School is designated for giving the test in the State of Mississippi. About twenty-one Seniors from Lanier High School took the test. If any of these are successful in this competitive test, they will receive scholarships to Howard University.

This Test was given under the Supervision of Mr. W. W. Blocker Field Agent for Howard University
