STREET CAR MEN ADVANCE

CHARLESTON, S. C., Dec. 28.-

Street Car Men's union has signed new agreement with the Consolidated Railway and Lighting company as the result of an arbitration award, which provides for the following wage scale:

Extra men, 19 cents per hour, when first assigned to regular run, 21 cents; two-year men, 23 cents; three-year men, 24 cents and four year men and over, 25 cents. This is an increase of 1 cent an hour for all the men except three-year men, who will receive an increase of 3 cents.
