PERSONAL ENCOUNTERS FEARED BECAUSE OF RESOLUTION BEFORE LEGISLATURE.

AUSTIN, Texas, March 3. Grave fears are expressed that there may be a personal encounter between Governor Ferguson, of Texas, and his personal and political enemies as an outcome to the introduction of a resolution in the state legislature, which is to come up for action tomorrow afternoon.

The governor declares he will personally resent any attack on his character.

Encounters were narrowly averted this afternoon when the governor met Representative Jones, of Tyler. The governor charged Jones as being sponsor and instigator of the impeachment resolution, which was introduced by Representative Davis.
