Honesty Rewarded,
R. D. Wheeler of Ravenna is about the happiest man in Western Michigan. August 11 he lost his pocket book containing $200 on Canal-st. Last night by appointment he came to Police Headquarters and got his money. It was found the day that he lost it by Mary Berry, a twelve-year-old daughter of the late Barney Berry, on the corner of Canal and Pearl-sts. Mr. Wheeler rewarded the little girl's honesty by giving her $25 and telling her that he would buy her a present that she would always keep, as a reminder of her honesty. Mary Berry is a happy little girl and Mr. Wheeler is equally happy. Miss Berry lives with her mother at 256 South Waterloo-st.
