Full Text

There is on exhibition, at McKoin & Bailey's Piano room, a marble mantle, manufactured in this city, by Mr. S. Hodgson, which is as fine a specimen of what kind of work as we have ever seen anywhere. It is made of pure Italian marble chaste in design, and elegant in all its finish. The manufacture here of such a piece of work, is creditable to the town, and doubly so to the mechanical and artistic skill of Mr. Hodgson. Our citizens should go and see it, if for nothing more, only to see what our home workmen can do.
