WILSON PLANS FEW SPEECHES
President to Give Only Five Big Addresses

Chicago, Sept. 9. President Wilson will not make more than five speeches in the present campaign outside of those he may make to visiting delegations at Shadow Lawn, N. J., according to word brought to the Western Democratic national headquarters yesterday by Arthur F. Mullen, Democratic national committeeman from Nebraska, who arrived from Washington after an interview with the President.

Mullen said President Wilson told him his speeches would be made before non-political organizations that have invited him to address them. He will speak in St. Louis September 20 and probably before the Cook County Real Estate Board in Chicago early in October. Later it is said he will speak in Philadelphia, Boston and New York.
