Farmers Of Lincoln County

"Lincoln county agriculture has made a fine showing in the Fifth War Loan," says Herbert Miller, chairman of County Activities. "So far the farmers in this county have purchased approximately $50,000 worth of "E" Bonds, and approximately $15,000 in other type bonds."

However, the chairman reports that the victory volunteers missed some farmers when they made their solicitations of the county. He urges any man who has not been contacted to buy his bonds just as soon as possible from any convenient issuing agency, making certain that Lincoln county receives credit if bought outside the county. Then this bond buyer is asked to call or notify the victory volunteer for his community and tell him he has bought his bonds, so as to avoid an unnecessary trip to this volunteer worker.

Mr. Miller reports the victory volunteers are making an effort to see all the people in their communities, but like every farmer, they are very busy and would appreciate it if men or women missed on the regular solicitation would buy bonds just as soon as they can so another trip will not be necessary.

"The farmers of Lincoln county have not and will not quit until they have bought and sold every "E" Bond that is possible,"
