A representative from the Modern School Supply in Cosner, Indiana, gave a demonstration and a social studies lesson at Starr School on Tuesday.

Crocuses, buttercups and dandelions are blooming now. The colt is black and dark brown. Ducks are on the little ponds.

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Old Person are proud parents of a baby girl born at Holy Family hospital in St. Ignatius, Montana.

Jimmie Reevis entered the 4th grade on Tuesday.

Every afternoon finds the children out on the track grounds.
April birthdays are Marvin DeRoche, Audrey Mary Marceau, Wayne Bear Medicine, Glenn Eagle Feathers, and Mrs. Imelda Ground.

House cleaning is in progress. The churches are being cleaned and everything will be ready for Easter.

A number of Starr School people went in to vote at the school election.

Everyone was happy over the oil lease. The winter was a long hard one and only through sharing and helping one another did a number of families get thru.

The movie "The Incredible Shrinking Man" was enjoyed by all. Many expressed the wish that he could have been helped to grow big again.

Mr. and Mrs. John Ground of Browning visited the Eugene Ground on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Reevis have moved over to Francis Bullshoe's to help with the spring work.

Glenn Eagle Feathers returned from Lewistown, Montana where he played in a basketball tournament with the Browning Braves. They placed seventh in the tournament.

Cecil Conway is the new bus driver.
