Full Text

The voting in Illinois last week Tuesday leaves little room for questioning how the women in that state may be expected to vote on the liquor question. The question of license or no license was the issue in twenty-five municipalities, and with a single exception the majority was against the saloons, as a result of the vote cast by women. The women were more than four to one in favor of no license. Probably this is typical of how women would vote in other states and we have nothing to fear from equal suffrage.
