On Friday Night was buried in One Grave at Deptford Church, a Man, his Wife, and Child, whose Deaths were owing to the following unhappy Accident:

The Husband, a Gardener, going home in the Evening, mistaking the Bridge over the Mill-Pond, behind the Wet Dock at Deptford, fell into that Head of Water and was drowned; which melancholy Story being too hastily related to his Wife, who was big with Child, she immediately fell in Labour and was delivered of a Child, which, together with its Mother, died in a few Hours after.
