A Boost for the St. Maries Band

The St. Maries Band continues to meet for practice every Tuesday night, in spite of the fact that so far they have not been able to get the moral support, let alone the financial support of the citizens of St. Maries.

In view of the fact that the amount needed to support the band is small, if the business men and citizens of St. Maries would each contribute $2.50 or $3.00 each month St. Maries would soon have a band equal to any of our sister cities.

Bear this in mind and when the business manager, Mr. Billy Mack, calls to solicit your subscription untie that knot in your purse strings and loosen up. Lets get together and shake the St. Maries Band a permanent proposition.

There are none of us who would not like to hear a good concert by the band at least once a week.
