We learn from a gentleman who came in on the Muscogee Railroad train on Sunday last, that on the day before, a man named Blair, when under the influence of liquor, accidentally shot and killed his brother. Mr. Blair had a pistol in his hand, and was behaving disorderly, when his brother seized him by the lapels of his coat, and shook him a little, telling him to behave and be quiet; and, in doing so, the pistol fired, the ball passing through the peace-maker's body, and from the effects of which he died in a few moments. The unfortunate affair occurred at Reynolds, on the Muscogee Road, and it is conceded by those who witnessed it, to have been altogether accidental. We could not learn the given names of the parties from our informant, as he only heard the matter spoken of on the train, and got no further particulars than those above given.—Macon Telegraph, 23d.
