Adults Long For Second Childhood As Hula Hooping Gains Popularity

The children in the village spent the day Saturday whooping it up with the new craze. "Hula Hoops" Ralph Boggs kept the hoops going for the longest period at one time.

Pam Heath won out with most hoops going at one time.

All enjoyed seeing Monte, three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Ransone, Jr., master the art and keep a hoop going around her waist at times all during the day.

It's a nice thing for the children while out of schools and the older folks enjoy watching them a great deal. They regret being unable to keep up with the youngsters in this recreation.
