PRINCIPALITY OF
MANACO CONTINUES
PRESENT DYNASTY

MONTE CARLO, Monaco, April 8. (P)—Order was brought out of the chaos in the little principality of Monaco, when the party of Mayor Eugene Marquet, favorable to maintenance of the present dynasty, carried the national and municipal elections by an overwhelming majority.

The word "overwhelming" might be misleading since voters were apparently heavily outnumbered by police, soldiers and various officials imported from France for the occasion.

Mayor Marquet is expected to prevail upon the Prince of Monaco to abandon the idea of abdicating and thus with one swift blow decide who should succeed.
