This morning was assigned for the consideration of private petitions. Report of the Committee on the Touro street Synagogue Fund was read and accepted. Report of the Committee on the General Treasurer's Account, was read and accepted. A message from the Governor of Connecticut in regard to the boundary line between this State and Connecticut, was read and returned to the Senate. Report of the Town Council of the town of Newport, on the Jewish Synagogue Fund was read and accepted.
The proceedings of yesterday were unimportant. Several petitions for divorce were granted, and a number of reports from Committees and memorials were read and referred.
