TUSCALOOSA, Ala-(SNS)- After his arrival here for a training course at the University of Alabama, a Negro airman was transferred Friday without having attended a class.

Pfc. Evans spent the night in McCorvey Hall, new three-story brick dormitory on the campus, but his bags were left packed. "I don't know what the trouble was," he said. "It was because I'm a colored fellow, I guess."
