T. LIEDAHL ANSWERS ARTICLE IN DOOLEY SUN

Two head of cattle advertised for sale at auction by Sheriff Bennett at the Tom Liedahl farm, were owned by two Canadians who called for the cattle. Tom gipped them out of only $60 for the keeping of the cattle.—Dooley Sun.

Plentywood, Mont.
Dec. 12, 1919.

MR. W. R. VEZINA:

I was told by a friend that you stated in your local items that I had gipped two Canadians out of only $60 for keeping their two head of cattle. Now I am willing to let you gip me out of $60 providing you will take two of my cattle and keep them for 23 months if you will keep them in as good condition as those cattle were kept. Those gents I dealt with from Canada seemed perfectly satisfied with my charges as there was no discussion with the exception that they asked me if I would bring them to Dooley for the same charges which I agreed to do. The only reason why you (Mr. Vezina) feel that I gipped them out of $60 is that you feel I gipped you out of my subscription about two years ago when I stopped the little Dooley pamphlet because I felt I was being gipped out of $2.00.

Yours truly,
T. P. LIEDAHL.

Main Argument

tom liedahl defends against accusations in the dooley sun of overcharging two canadians $60 for keeping their cattle for 23 months, stating they were satisfied and offering a similar deal to mr. vezina; he counters that vezina's complaint stems from liedahl canceling his subscription two years ago.
