Ed. Price Was Shot
In Leg Last Night

Ed Price, local Western Maryland ticket agent, was shot in the leg shortly after eight o'clock last night while in the grounds about the new Davis and Elkins College buildings.

Price's injury is serious, both bones in the left leg being shattered.

The shooting, it is claimed, was done by Gus Bowser, colored, and was accidental. Unsavory and salacious rumors of the affair are in circulation, the true details of which will probably not come out until the hearing of Bowser is held. Bowser is in jail, but no date has yet been set for his hearing.
