Full Text

We hear from Chester of the following singular circumstance which happened there, and which is known and averred by many persons of that city.

A woman who, in the melancholy catastrophe of the 5th of November last, had been much bruised and burnt, particularly on the back of both hands, and on the left eyebrow, was discharged pretty well, after a long confinement in the infirmary.

April 10th she was delivered of twins, still born, the one having a blister as large as a pigeon's egg on the back of each hand, the other a similar one over the left eye, corresponding to the injuries the mother had received from the fire, which (though she continued tolerably well for some time after her delivery) at length occasioned her death the 13th of last month.
