Bucyrus, O.—A sheep with a wooden leg is attracting a great deal of attention at the home of Ira Quaintance, in Dallas township. The sheep has learned to manipulate its wooden member as well as a man. During a storm early this year the sheep was struck by lightning, its foot and part of the leg was torn off. As the animal was valuable and was injured in no other way, Mr. Quaintance concluded to make a wooden leg and foot for it. The artificial limb was covered with wool and so well does the sheep use its false leg that, except for a limp, a person would be unable to detect the difference.
